The 6th IUCN World Parks Congress

The IUCN World Parks Congress, held on average every 10 years, is a landmark global forum on protected areas. As the world’s most influential gathering of people involved in protected area management, it sets the agenda for the following decade.

UN General Assembly: ecotourism key to eradicating poverty and protecting environment

A landmark resolution recognizing ecotourism as key in the fight against poverty, the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development has been adopted by the United Nations General Assembly (21 December 2012).

XXIII INTERNATIONAL FIELD SEMINAR ON PROTECTED AREA MANAGEMENT

This course of one month has been organized for over 22 years by the Center for Protected Area Management and Training at Colorado State University (CSU).
The course is taught entirely in Spanish in Fort Collins, Colorado, United States, this year will take place from July 3 - August 3 2013.
